Hello, everyone! It’s an honor that you all are somewhat interested to know who I am! Now with that being said, let’s get started shall we? So, being surrounded by music at an early age. I then became highly interested in the craft. I am a new artist who has now started to follow his dreams as a producer and composer for various forms of entertainment. I grew up in the state of Connecticut which I still currently reside in. My parents have a great interest in music which shaped my interests when I was growing up. I also have an older brother who got me interested in more electronic based music. So, it’s all thanks to them! High School was when I started to get into composing my own work. It’s also worth noting that I am completely self-taught.

Where are you based?
I feel like I’m one of the few producers/composers who lives in Connecticut.

How long have you been making music?
I have been making music with simple software when I was in High School and a bit after when I was in college. So only 5 years during that time. I then entered a “hiatus” for 4 years so I can only work and study. Just now I have just recently entered the more professional aspect of music creation by using much more advanced software. So, only half a year. I am a complete beginner!

What genre would you consider your music to be?
Electronica, Synth-Pop, Techno, Ambient. I like to dabble in classical sounds as well!

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Oh wow, this happened when I was 7 years old I believe. I always remembered hearing Michael Jackson’s Thriller Album playing in the basement whenever my father was exercising. The constant exposure of his music has got me interested in his other work which then furthered my interest in music from the 70’s, 80’s and then 90’s era. My mother is also a fantastic singer, she always kept singing classics which solidified my interests in the vintage era! My interest in a music career has peaked a year later when I entered 8 years old. My older brother loves playing games. In the early days, he had a fondness playing Super Mario 64. I’ll always remember hearing the Flying Cap Theme (Powerful Mario). Such a simple, but beautiful jingle. That was when I started becoming addicted to Video Game music which then expanded to TV and Movie scores.

What are your biggest musical influences?
On video game scores I love the work of Woody Jackson in Rockstar games, Dan Romer in Far Cry 5, Shoji Meguro and Ryota Kozuka in Persona and Shin Megami Tensei and Celldweller’s work on Killer Instinct: Season 3 along with Atlas Plug (from CT!) . Pet Shop Boys, Talk Talk, Daft Punk and of course Michael Jackson are my radio picks!

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am currently an indie artist. I do everything solo! I am learning so many things every time I open up my DAW. It’s so much fun!

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
I just started, so I can’t really say I have a career yet, but I will say this… and I’m sure everyone in the music field experienced this to some degree… The habit of comparing yourself with the big names. Asking for immediate success, why your music doesn’t sound like the pros, the streaming algorithm and all that stuff. I do all this solo and I just started, so I faced the fact that my music is not up to industry standards…yet. I’m still finding my sound; so what do I do? I just keep practicing in my craft. Music shouldn’t feel like a chore, it’s art and it should be fun!

How many songs or albums have you released to date?
“Professionally”, I only released 3. The 3 are part of my first series of music called “Story of the Soul”. It’s about an individual’s identity.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
At the time of this interview, my 3rd piece hasn’t been released yet. It will be out in July 25th, 2023. So, in 5 days! Now, “Negligence of One’s Soul” is a more fast pace song that I have composed and produced. I took elements of Techno and Pop (Synth-Pop) and sprinkled in some orchestral elements. This piece is about someone who lost him/herself in order to please others; living a lie. In other words, he/she neglected his soul in order to be accepted to the mass majority. I hope you all enjoy it once it releases!

Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
Negligence is Chapter 3 of the “Story of the Soul” series. I’m already working on Chapter 4. There are a total of 6 “Chapters”. I already have them all planned out. Also, I’m remastering my other 2 for the Album version! Get that quality up and fixing my rookie mistakes. Hah!
