Where are you based?
Brooklyn, NY

How long have you been making music?
I’ve been making music professionally since 2016. I’ve worked on my debut album since 2017. In order for me to gain buzz, I had to do collabs first before releasing any of my singles.

What genre would you consider your music to be?
I’m very versatile and refuse to put myself in a box. When it comes to songwriting, I do different subject matters.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
When I heard Aaliyah’s self-titled album that came out in 2001, it gave me a reason to pursue my dream to be in the music industry. That album is the reason why I was open to different genres of music.

What are your biggest musical influences?
Aaliyah, Beyonce, Brandy, Kelis, Mary J. Blige, Nicki Minaj, Sade, & Toni Braxton

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I’m an Independent artist

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
My biggest challenge would be keeping the crowd entertained. For the last few months, I had small breakdowns because I thought my music would captivate people but I had to realize that the kind of songs I make aren’t for everyone. So I’ve decided for now on in the new year, instead of being someone that I’m not on stage, be 1000 percent myself whether people like it or not.

How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I’ve released 4 songs so far. (Hardcore, Hardcore (Remix), Blaze, & Dirt on My Name)

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
The song “Dirt on My Name” was released on November 11, 2022, and the video was released on November 14, 2022. I’ve been contemplating if I wanted that song to be a single since 2021. So, when I had a small beef with a male hip hop artist, it inspired me to revisit the song and write a shot verse for him. When I heard the finished product, I’ve decided that it’ll be the third single of my upcoming debut album.

Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I’m doing finishing touches on my debut album and I’m releasing it this year. Once I have a released date, I’ll let everyone know. Also, I have more collabs in the works.
