Brooklyn, New York

I’ve been making music professionally for 6 years now. I didn’t start working on my first project until 2017. For me to gain buzz, I had to do collaborations before releasing any of my singles.
What genre would you consider your music to be?
I’m very versatile. I refuse to have myself or let someone put me in a box. When it comes to songwriting, I do different subject matters.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
When I heard Aaliyah’s self-titled album that came out in 2001, It changed my life forever. I loved everything about that I wanted to do a project like that one day but still make it sound like me.
What are your biggest musical influences?
Aaliyah, Beyonce, Brandy, Kelis, Mary J. Blige, Nicki Minaj, Sade, & Toni Braxton
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I’m an indeopendent artist.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
I don’t have difficult ones yet but a small one would be singing live because I would try to sing my songs the way it sounds on the record or better. I’ve had good and ok live performances but I always strive to get better vocally every day.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
3 songs so far (Hardcore, Hardcore (Remix), & Blaze)
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
The song “Blaze” was released on January 4th, 2022. I didn’t plan for it to be a single right away. I had to look over my catalog of songs I’ve written and had to think hard which one stood out the most. The song was inspired by a man I had an intense crush on and I’ve worked with him in the past. It hit over 6k on Spotify & 10k on YouTube. It was surreal to see those numbers and I’m very blessed.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I have single that I’m releasing in November along with the video a little after. It’s been a while since I’ve released another single but it’s worth the wait. I’m currently still working on my debut album and I planned it to be released this year but instead I pushed it back to 2023 so I can do the finishing touches. Once I have a release date, I’ll let everyone know. Also, I have more collabs in the works. I can’t wait.
