Kacey Fifield is best known for her SERIES REGULAR role on Nickelodeon’s REACT TO THAT and KIDS REACT series on YouTube. Other notable credits include roles on Nickelodeon’s GAME SHAKERS where she plays Karissa. She RECURS on several TV Series including CLIQUE WARS, PEOPLE VS FOOD, DIANNE, JERRY AND FRIENDS, TRY NOT TO SMILE OR LAUGH, OPINIONS and ADVICE. Kacey is a singer/songwriter and has already written and released over a dozen original songs, including “Camouflage” which is co-written by Kacey with her friend, producer and frequent collaborator, Robbie Rosen, a seasoned “American Idol” Top 16 alumnus. Kacey’s songs have played on over 60 radio stations. Her original music video for “HEAR ME OUT” has been awarded by multiple film festivals. Kacey’s latest trio of original singles “Like Us”, “Toxic”, and “Palms” have received rave reviews. She recently released a 12-song album “Between the Lines” and an acoustic single entitled “Selfish”.

Where are you based?
Los Angeles, CA!
How long have you been making music?
Wow, it’s been a while! My very first release was when I was 10. It was a super cute song called “When I Grow Up.” That was 8 years ago so I definitely think my music has grown alongside my personal growth since then.
What genre would you consider your music to be?
My new release, Petty, is definitely a dance song! In general, though, I consider my style to be pop.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I’ve always loved singing and making up lyrics about the most random things. As a kid, I’d always be singing the theme song to my favorite TV shows (probably Victorious or iCarly) and making up new songs about things that happen in the shows. My passion for music has stuck with me!
What are your biggest musical influences?
I’ve always loved Taylor Swift. I think she’s an incredible storyteller and her lyrics are so deeply personal in a way that makes them feel straight from the heart but relatable at the same time which is a super difficult balance to accomplish. I also love other artists like Conan Gray, Lorde, Gracie Abrams, The Weeknd, Sabrina Carpenter, and so many more! I’d say that every artist I listen to influences me in one way or another.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I’m independent 🙂
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
I definitely have writer’s block when it comes to music sometimes. Long periods of time with no ideas are the worst, but after that I end up overflowing with ideas!
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I released my debut album, Between the Lines, last September! That album had 12 songs on it. Prior to the album, I had released 15 original singles. I also released a new single “Selfish” this past March. All in all I have released over 30 songs, not counting the remixes!
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
“Petty” is a super high-energy song all about letting go of people who stay in your life just to be petty! It’s meant to be a song you play while dancing, running, hitting the gym, partying, or just screaming the lyrics for catharsis. It is a collaboration with the super talented Indian producer Nippandab.
