
Mery Diamondz is best known as a Singer/Songwriter and Dancer hailing from Yerevan, Armenia. She has released 5 original singles including her upcoming release entitled ‘Jus Dance’.

How long have you been making music?
I’ve always experimented with making my own music in my earlier years, but I wasn’t that proficient. Once I met my producer, which it has been a few years already, I started to take music more seriously and excelled at it, under his supervision.
What genre would you consider your music to be?
Pop, R&B and a sprinkle of classical with Arabic scales.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Artists like Etta James, Chaka Chan, James brown, with their impressive singing capabilities, motivated me to pursue a career in music. I always knew that this is what I wanted, but I was further motivated by these artists.
What are your biggest musical influences?
My biggest musical influences are Michael Jackson, Etta James, Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin. Their music really resonates with me and uplifts my soul.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am an independent artist. I take full control of my career and determine which direction it takes.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
My biggest challenges are finding the right teammates that can deliver on their part so that the project as a whole is a success.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I’ve released four songs which are “It’s a girl”, “Rockstar”, “Dark Winter” and “Black and Red”.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My latest release is called Dark Winter. It’s about the turbulent times in my life when all hope was lost and my life was filled with darkness. I want people to know that no matter how dark it gets, there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
My next release- JUS DANCE- is set to be released on sept 1st. We have many great projects in the works- the details of which I can’t reveal just yet. So stay tuned!
