When you spend time with Shelia Moore Piper, you begin to understand the subtle intensity of her music. Music is a ministry, and it is my ministry, A body of music that is inviting, reflective, and encompasses a universal message of worship, self-love, and hope. Shelia says, as an artist she wants her music to uplift and inspire. Through the years the sound of gospel music has evolved to speak to new generations.
Her music stretches over a variety of styles, often utilizing jazz and soul undertones, sometimes dealing in groovy offerings of funk with light smatterings of Motown and disco, and occasionally visiting the hip-hop genre.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I have been writing songs since I was 8 years old!! It is surely one of my callings and purpose!
What are your biggest musical influences?
I love Gospel,Soul, Jazz and Classical Music! I like too many Artists!
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am a independent artists and Co- CEO of me and hubby’s independent label! Bdm/ Ugroove Music
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
One of the biggest challenges has been finding people of integrity, its very rare in this business.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have released 2 CD’s so far to date myself and 7 singles that I co-produced, arranged and featured on released from our label.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My lastest release includes my world wide single playing all over the globe called “Get Excited”
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
