Stemin is a musician, artist from Italy based in the Netherlands. At the moment Stemin is promoting his debut album #tellyourheart released worldwide on August 28th on all online platforms. Stemin comes from a Soul, RnB and Pop background, he tries to combine a mixture of these genres when he writes music. His message is about listening to one’s heart and taking care of it. The album describes also the dating part in a relationship and how the heart can assume different emotions, shades and colors depending on the season the heart finds itself in.

How long have you been making music?
I have been making since I was very young, I guess around the age of eight.
What genre would you consider your music to be?
My music is a crossover of soul, rnb, pop and electronics.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
The fact that I can communicate and spread a message through music.
What are your biggest musical influences?
Different artists, musicians. Mostly musicians from the RnB, Soul world such as PJ Morton, Anderson .Paak, Alicia Keys but also from other types of art like philosophers, painters, sculptors and performers.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am an independent artist.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
The biggest challenge has been to gain a credibility which takes time, energy and a lot of energy to be invested in. But, being genuine, constant and pertinent is the key to make yourself credible.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have released on album in 2017 under my birth name Stefano Minder and my debut album on August 28th of this year under my stage name STEMIN.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
The album #tellyourheart describes the dating part in a relationship. And usually this is one of the most exciting seasons in life because there are different feelings involved. #tellyourheart is also a journey into the heart: a joyful, colorful heart; a heart that pours out love as a generous gift.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I am working on a sequel of #tellyourheart which will feature the collaboration with an international well know producers as well as some nice featurings. The goal is to produce a second EP/Album to be released by the beginning of 2021.
