God, the Talents, the desire to discover who I am. It’s just in me and I can’t hide. The inspiration comes from within. My husband encouraged me a lot. and I am so grateful for that. I will also say having a theater background influenced my decision.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
Mr. DJ was actually inspired by Rehana in 2005, when I watched her video, I wrote out my lyrics and knowing one day I will sing my version someday, while I was ready to hit the studio in 2010, my kid sister got sick and passed right in my hand. I chose to take responsibility for her children and I do not want history to repeat itself. In addition, I just want to do a song for the DJ’s all over the world, just to appreciate their efforts on how music generally is promoted through them. As a great dancer, I like to enter into a club or party to see people sweating it out. This song is mostly for the DJ’s, dancers and lovers of good music world wide.

Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
Absolutely yes, but right now. my focus is on Mr. Dj which will be release on the 9th of July and will be streaming on all social media platforms, My team and I are planning to be on location for the video shot of Mr. Dj
