Christopher Diamond is a multi-talented vocalist and rapper who dons the moniker of Chris Crillz. The enigma is at the fulcrum of an evolving hip-hop scene. Chris Crillz is a quite different and uniquely wired musician who isn’t afraid to break the rules and push the boundaries of our perception with his deeply layered and well-crafted production. Born in New York and raised in Syracuse, NY, his drive, focus, and tenacity will lead him to become a relentless and unstoppable force in the independent circuit. Chris Crillz is making music that is driven by a desire to motivate, inspire, and tell his story his way.
Music is the vehicle by which he expresses himself. Having grown up in a low-income area he often faced the realities of the hood and writes rap lyrics that draw from his experiences and by using his musical acumen he articulates stories and shared perspectives that will connect with audiences across the spectrum. Chris Crillz combines various unique and experimental sounds with his intricate wordplay and often dabbles in various contrasting flows resulting in Hip hop centered fusions that are still firmly stitched together by emotive undertones. Chris Crillz cites icons such as 50 Cent, G-unit, Dipset, Jay-Z, Cassidy, d-block, and Lil Wayne, as the pivotal influences in his music. This all culminates in Chris Crillz producing an enjoyable, and easy-going musical experience that is authentic and grounded in reality. The major turning point for Chris was when he met Glenn Wallace, CEO of Real Hood Music, LLC, little did he know that this fortuitous meeting would change the trajectory of his career. Crillz will be releasing his debut EP, “Naw Fo Real,” April 14th, 2022, which will highlight his distinct lyrical content and Rap style which will take listeners on a journey through various emotions and bring them to a place where they can escape the world and be lost in the music. His upcoming projects will highlight his passion and love for music as an art form. He explores various themes by delving deeper into the emotions that encompass the human psyche. The talented enigma is here to reshape and leave an indelible mark in the industry.

After looking at other artist at a young age and realizing I could do it just as good. I decided to apply myself in the art of music.

Myself, staying focused on my craft.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
A few singles but this is my first serious project.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
Naw Fo Real is a short story from song 1 to 10 of life in my Hood. It was created to make you party and have fun.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
This project will be released on April 14, 2022. On February 12, 2022, I will be opening for The Wu Tang Clan at The Cone Denim Center. I will be performing 3 singles off the upcoming release.
