Born and raised in Topeka, Kansas until my early 20’s where I started my singing/writing career. I was influenced, by many late greats such as Whitney Houston, Patty Austin, and those still with us such as: Lauryn Hill, Angela Winbush, as well as, male figures like Avant, Musiq, Joe, and Mr. Donny Hathaway yet, so many more. I migrated to LA where I now follow my dream.
