Andy Jackson aka Fhiyahshua was born at Victoria Jubilee Hospital in Kingston on march 28,1974, raised in Bedward Garden St Andrew August Town.

He attended the Aquinas Basic School, then August Town Primary, and later Mona High.

At an early age he was surrounded by music as his Father owned a sound system, which he played and sang songs on.

Fhiyahshua’s music is an inborn feeling given to mankind by the Almighty, Fhiyahshua is also motivated mainly by his Mother, Wife, Family members, producers and real friends.

Knowing that word is power,holding the Rastafarian faith, Fhiyahshua is urged to sing positive songs that would uplift the minds of people.

By listening to music, he was inspired by many artistes but mainly by Bob Marley and the Wailers – Mighty Diamonds – Burning Spear – Garnet Silk – Brigadier Jerry – Sista Nancy – Buju Banton – Capleton – Sizzla – Shabba Ranks – Micheal Jackson – Marcia Griffiths and the list go on.

Multi genres but mainly Reggae / Dancehall

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I was born for this.

What are your biggest musical influences?
Everything and persons around I.

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am an independent artist with my own record labels, yet still i signed contract agreements with other record labels.

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
My biggest challenge is to be a better artist than what i was before.

How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I got nine studio albums out, also featured on compilations and over forty singles to date.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My latest release “Endeavor” is a very motivational track that anyone can relate to, go check it out !
