How long have you been making music?
I have been making music now for around 3 to 4 years but it’s been the last 2 I would say I have taken it more seriously
What genre would you consider your music to be?
My main style of music would be alternative rock, pop punk, pop rock etc, the early 2000’s sound
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Weird story actually, I was working for a company called Senxios and I was controlling the TikTok account for them, and I saw multiple people making music and sharing their art on there so I wanted to finally show what I got.
What are your biggest musical influences?
My biggest musical influences at this moment in time is the Travis Barker and Machine Gun Kelly duo, they brought the light back into pop punk. Iann Dior is also a huge influence on my music, the topics and the way he talks about relationships is very similar to mine, so I feel that he influences me a lot in the way that I write and the way that I perform
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am currently an independent artist, fingers crossed that will change soon.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
I’d say the biggest challenges that as happened in my music career was when I first started, and then had that bad mental state of, “oh what if I never make it big” or, “what if no one will like me or my music” but now I think I have passed that mindset and I’m all ready to go.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have just released my 3rd album which is a joint one with a group I am in called “TheLittlePigs”
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My latest release was sort of a hit or miss for me to release as it is something that is not in my primary genre should we say. It first started off with my usual, with finding free beats to use on YouTube, and I come across one person who released a summer funk pop type beat. I gave it a listen and started freestyling random lyrics and melodies. Then I ended up having a catchy chorus which I immediately noted down in a voice note. I quickly wrote lyrics to that melody and went straight to my home studio to record it. I had the chorus to my song and then tried working on the verse, I sent it out to a couple of people for a verse but I didn’t really like any of them so I thanked them and told them I’ve got other people sending me verses, so I didn’t seem rude to them. I then lost faith in trying to find a feature so I did the verses myself and here we are, Take Me To The Ocean.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I do have a new song which is being released around early August called Leave For Life with an artist called Led Banger, which will be the first time I’ve ever released a song with a feature that is singing in a different language, and is also the 2nd single off my upcoming project which I am yet to announce the name of.
