I am a writer/storyteller who wrote Musical-ception – The Musical about Making a Musical. It is my first venture into the music arena and it has been great. I wrote the book and lyrics and collaborated with Erella Atlan who composed the music. It is an interesting collaboration because I am in Orlando, Florida and Erella lives in Paris, France. I just wanted to see what it was like.

The Producers, Singin in the Rain, Phantom of the Opera, and Starkid’s The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals

Independent
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Not being a music person, it has been challenging but exciting at the same time. Having the lyrics I needed a composer. Went to the Berklee School of Music and interviewed 15 composers and settled with Erella. Our collaboration was great and shows that you don’t need to be in the same place to create.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
Cursed with Good Looks is the first release from Musical-ception. It has been very exciting and a learning experience in writing it and getting it produced.
