Where are you based?
USA; Louisiana
How long have you been making music?
I have been involved in music since I was a teenager, but I have been recording music since 2006.
What genre would you consider your music to be?
Electronic/dark electropop
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
At 14, I became interested in opera and decided to enter a music program at a local college after I graduated high school. I became interested in gothic/darkwave, metal, and electronic styles and decided I wanted to take this route with my music.
What are your biggest musical influences?
Assemblage 23, Ashbury Heights, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Loreena McKennitt, Dead Can Dance. Solitary Experiments
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
Currently independent. I have been signed to Fossil Dungeon, Sin-Tech, and Ravenheart Music in the past.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Working with other musicians on a long-term basis has been a struggle, which is why I decided go solo with my current project. I have found that all of us have had to limit our creativity in order to “fuse” our sound together. Our vision did not often match, and it became discouraging for all of us.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
Probably around 20-25, including albums, singles, EPs, and collaborations.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
Poveglia is my latest single. It was inspired by the abandoned Italian island which was used as a quarantine station during the time of the Black Plague. It is believed to be haunted, attracting the interests of paranormal investigators.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
A New EP, “Eclipse and Illusion” is currently in the works for an early winter 2021 release.
