Soul Chalice is a Hip-Hop Funk Rock Fusion band from Delaware. We released our debut album, Enter The Game, on all major music streaming services June 25, 2021. Each member comes from a different back ground not only demographically but musically as well. Our music is as fun as it is thoughtful. Soul Chalice is Frontman/Emcee Face Balian, Keyboardist/Drummer AJ Connolly, Guitarist Dan Ridgely, and Bassist/Vocalist Mark Reeve.

Collectively we have over a half a century of music related experience. We’ve been a band for nearly 5 years.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Face Balian always dreamt of being a musician since his early childhood. He wrote stories when he was young which later turned into writing lyrics. He formed a rap group in high school and later formed the Hip-Hop Jam Band Rockslide Jones. Although, these groups ultimately defected, Face Balian never lost his drive to find the right sound to express himself. Soul Chalice has been the perfect culmination of years of experience from guys of different different backgrounds.

Rage Against The Machine, The Roots, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cypress Hills
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
Soul Chalice is putting music out with independent music group Sound Pitch Entertainment.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Finding solid people to work with, marketing product, touring and finding live gigs.

Soul Chalice has released 1 album so far.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
The album was recorded and mixed by Face Balian and Dan Ridgely at Sound Pitch Entertainment Studios and Ridgely Manor Studio in Dover, Delaware.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
Soul Chalice is in the studio working on their second album. The yet to be titled album is expected to be released next summer 2022.
