What genre would you consider your music to be?
I’m interchangeable when it comes to my music but if I had to choose, I would say my music is a mixture of R&b and Pop.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Being very young, listening to my mother sing as a child and being that type of child that was an outcast and loner, I crave for attention. Music has always been apart of my life. I have a few family members who record music too.
What are your biggest musical influences?
Artists like Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton, and quite a few other big name artists from the 90s influenced my sound alot.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I’m an independent artist.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Promoting my music has always been a tough issue for me. I promote and manage myself so it gets very costly but I still try to make sure my music gets heard one way or another. Social media definitely helps though.other.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have a 10-track album called “I.D. (Internal Disturbance)” that I released back in March and a 3-song single called “Car Sex” that just released Sunday.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
“Car Sex”, the title-song, is pretty much self explanatory. It’s about two people who have strong attractions towards each other and decide to have public sex in a car. The song “Time” is about seeing an ex for the first time with someone else, making you miss them and want them back. The last song “NOT GONNA (Stay)” is about me wishing a former lover farewell because I’m tired of being mistreated. I put alot hard work on these songs and I hope people love them as much as I do.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
Yes, right I’m working on a few other new songs. One with a friend and the other 2 by myself. Undecided on whether to release them as singles or add a few more song to make an EP. Dont know yet. I’m also working on putting together some shows both live (in person) and live (online). So stay tuned.
