Liverpool based Joe Stanley is hoping to set the bar high with his debut single “For You – Prototype” set to be released on *enter date*. Having picked up guitar aged 16 Joe spent the first two years gigging around his hometown of Wigan. Now residing in Liverpool, lockdown gave Joe the opportunity to write and create demos in his university bedroom.

Taking influence from artists such as Declan McKenna, Rex Orange County and Sam Fender, “For You – Prototype” is Joe’s first full band production, brought to life at The Motor Museum by producer Bob Mackenzie. The track has the making of an indie anthem, lyrics such as “tell me your type and I’ll be it” express the track’s message of being desperate to impress a potential love interest. Speaking about the track Joe states “I wanted to make a tune that people could relate to, with a singalong chorus that will be stuck in your head for days”.

The rest of the year will see Joe back in the studio at The Motor Museum recording and releasing more tracks. Further to this, Joe will be looking to perform around the Liverpool area, doing solo shows using his guitar and loop station.
