Released on October 24, 2020 – in th emiddle of a pandemic I realized the most important in my life is music. So I released this song, which was mostly written and pre-recorded in 2018. This song tells the story about how I got to learn how to live without a father figure in my life and how I don’t wish this upon anyone else. The song starts with a throwback to the past but during its story it changes into a promise to my nieces/nephews/future children with the message that I however WILL be there.
“Metjoeww” is just a phonetically fun way of pronouncing ‘Matthew’ the best in Dutch/Flemish.
