Where are you based?
I am based in Ponce, Puerto Rico when I first started performing in small audiences in college
How long have you been making music?
I’ve been professionally doing music for 4 years now.
What genre would you consider your music to be?
I consider my music to be soulful, I love writing about real things and making it sound as real as possible even if it’s not meant to be catchy or even meant to be a hit song or anything of that sort, I just wanna sing my soul out.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I will firmly say that Christina Aguilera entire career inspired to go for mine
What are your biggest musical influences?
Christina Aguilera for sure but I look up too Demi Lovato and JoJo, my 3 biggest singing influences some of the best singers this entire universe has to offer. But Christina is the Mom and by far she is my biggest and #1 musical influence for sure, for sure.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am proudly and as for right now an Independent Artist
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
In reality is that I don’t get actual recognition from people in the music industry with power. I went to various auditions to get it, did many singing competition, like; Idol Puertorico, La banda, I auditioned 3 times for The Voice USA and one time to “La Voz” which is the Latin version of “The Voice” same with “Idol Puertorico” which was the rican version of American Idol hehe the experiences were fenomenal but I didn’t pass to the tv exposure idk even know why lol so that has been my biggest challenge to get recognition by my voice and talent only., which in my eyes is how it should be, the charisma and the stage presence are pluses and you’d develop that, that’s has never been a challenge the challenge is be heard naturally with the music speaking by itself like I aspire my career to be like.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I only released 2 on my own and a collab with my older brother and his friend
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
It’s a very vulnerable project.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
Yes, I am releasing more English songs and I will settle with Spanish for a while but I wanted to explore my English skills even tho that’s no my first language, I never had it as a barrer and Youd notice it in this song and other songs I am planning to release this year if God allows me too.
