BLACK CHEVY was written after I met the love of my life. Its sound and feel is reminiscent of a night out I had for one of my close friends on his 20th birthday. It was there that I met a woman who, to this day, has changed my life forever. The lyrics describe a strong woman using “Tall” to describe her both physically and emotionally. The symbolism of a “Black Chevy” is also that of strength, it being a strong car and the color black representing power and elegance. This is BLACK CHEVY.
