I am a 24 year old queer rapper who enjoys expressing their feelings/experiences through the means of music.

Where are you based?
I am based in the DFW area of Texas!

How long have you been making music?
I have been writing music since 2015, but I only started releasing officially in 2020.

What genre would you consider your music to be?
I would consider my music to be rap with some pop elements!

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Growing up, I have always looked at music as a getaway. Eventually, I decided to start writing songs as an outlet.

What are your biggest musical influences?
I would say Selena Quintanilla-Perez is my biggest influence. She was such a sweetheart and they way she was able to captivate an audiences attention with her authenticity will always amaze me! I also want to give a shout out to Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Kehlani, and Sza! They are some good song writers and each one of their music makes me feel something.

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am currently an independent artist, but I hope to get signed soon!

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
The biggest challenge I have faced so far is doing everything on my own and learning as I go.

How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have 1 song and an album by myself. I am also featured on two songs as well! “Future me” from air-is-ay’s “Master of None” ep and “BRBL” from Jazzy Blaze’s “On The Come Up” album!

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My album, “I Can’t Help My Sagittarius Ways” was released on my birthday (December 2nd) of 2021. For my debut album, I really wanted to capture the essence of who “Gxbriel” is and I did a good job doing so. It is a 12 track album that goes through my relationship status, being confident, and the inter-workings of my mind!

Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I am working on my next project that will be released later this year in the summer!
